VivoPoint — Water Safety & Compliance Platform

Designed a product for monitoring and managing commercial pool and spa facilities, combining real-time data, alerts, and reporting into a unified experience.

Context

VivoAquatics provides technology solutions for water safety and compliance. The challenge was to translate complex operational and IoT data into a clear, actionable product for different types of users, from on-site operators to portfolio managers.

Problem

Users needed to monitor multiple facilities, respond to critical alerts, and access reporting in environments with limited connectivity—often under time-sensitive conditions.

Role & Scope

Led the end-to-end design of the product, including UX strategy, information architecture, and high-fidelity prototyping to support both product definition and client presentations.

Key Decisions

• Structured the platform around a hierarchical dashboard system, allowing users to move from a single body of water to a full portfolio view.
• Designed escalating alert mechanisms to prioritize critical issues and support faster decision-making.
• Simplified complex IoT data into clear, scannable interfaces tailored to different user roles.
• Optimized flows for low-connectivity environments, ensuring reliability in technical spaces like pump rooms.
